GC Dining Services shut down

As of 11 a.m. this morning, all GC Dining Services were closed due to reports of students having stomach pains or gastrointestinal symptoms shortly after eating there.

According to GC Communications, “out of an abundance of caution and due to several reports of students experiencing stomach pain, all campus dining facilities have been closed.”

Students who are experiencing these symptoms should go to the Health Services, who are extending their hours until 8 p.m. tonight.

According to GC Communications, “GC is currently working with campus and local health officials to isolate and determine potential cause.”

Students with a meal plan received $20 of CatCash on their Bobcat card before 11:30 this morning to purchase food at participating locations off campus.

GC Health Services declined to comment.

The Colonnade will continue to update the story as it unfolds.
